It's been 3 Years So Where's That "Beautiful" Health Insurance Plan Trump Promised?

Remember back in 2016 when Trump promised us better and less expensive health insurance plans that he often called "beautiful"?  Yeah, me too!  So whatever happened to that?  Well the only thing I could find was what Trump refers to as his "skinny plan" What is that?  Well, remember before the ACA you could buy health insurance for about $200-$300 but whenever you would use it nothing was ever covered?  ... Skinny Plan!  Nothing beautiful there.

So what has Trump been doing to deliver on his promise of Beautiful Health Insurance?  Well he's spearheaded many lawsuits to destroy the ACA.  Other than that ... NOTHING!

Personally, I suspect this will become an increasingly painful political thorn in his side because almost every poll asking voters what they consider to be the most pressing issue for them personally is always healthcare.  Wouldn't it be ironic if after all the lies, incompetence, criminal acts and corruption THIS is the issue that finally takes Trump out of the Oval Office?

Is Trump losing support among evangelicals? God I Hope So!

Trump is blatantly immoral yet a large part of his supporters are Christian Evangelicals seems counterintuitive but even though there is a growing division in the ranks most continue to believe he's God's "imperfect man" doing his will.  Other's either don't understand just how dangerous it is to have a sociopath in the White House and how he emboldens our enemies while causing our allies to distance themselves because they know he can't be trusted.

Now I do understand that they have gotten many Federally appointed judges ... many unqualified and who will probably be removed because of that but I can't argue they did get another SCOTUS Judge under Trump so I'm sure they feel that justifies their complete blindness when it comes to Trump's constant lies, Congressional obstruction, corruption, etc...

The question that always comes up for me is, why do the Evangelicals trust him?  Trump track record for throwing people under the bus to save himself  or as an act of vengeance is considerable.  I wonder what makes them think if they displease him in any way they won't suffer the same fate?  I'm pretty sure an enraged Trump would have no qualms taking away their tax exempt status or even making their lives miserable similar to the way people who come across our border are now subject to.

It is my personal opinion that Evangelical leadership has denied their God in favor of political power and are now worshiping at the altar of Trump.  They have persuaded many of their followers to do likewise but the tide is shifting thanks mostly to the younger members of their faith.  I find this very encouraging and sincerely hope this trend continues through 2020!
